For complex reasons (health, economy, no husband nor children) after the plandemic and after most of my life away I live now with my 80 yr old mother and 83 yr old since covid, which thank God are at a reasonable good shape for their age and helped them with some aspects of the family business (real state) because they don't want to let go and delegate as they are quite efficient and there is no money for salaries, pensions or saving for any of us for now. My father gave good amount of money to my sisters to helped for new businesses. Not very smart. Maybe he always thought he can "buy" them or that money with flow alqays amd they had children and needed some help or both. Not easy for me as a single 54 year old woman that lived away for decades working and living with my My father as he still has a strong temper and worse at his age, and he was unfaithfull to my mother not so long a go, and hated me and never forgave me because I took sides when they separated for 4 years when we were young and before that I always defended my Mother since I was a baby from what I thought was a dominiring narcissistic husband (never physically or emotionally violent to her neither screamed at her) that since those years chose my younger sisters as "his favorite" and my mother my youngest sisters; despite that they are not the best of daughters. Regardless, I am 54 and have forgiven my father for mostly everything I could not live carrying heavy grudges. Still I have to work hard to forgive him every other day his rudeness and emotional/verbal/gas lighting violence against me (at least there is no physical violence, no screams, no cursing). But I remember the fourth commenment and how stressed my mother gets and fragile she is physically at her age and let it go. I choose to count my blessings. Bless you for being a good role model and explaining how important is to forgive for our personal growth, health and peace of mind.
